Readers I need your help! If you know of fun things to do in Solterra Resort, please comment so I can add in your contribution (:
With so many options available on the Disney vacation rental home marketplace you may wonder, why stay at Solterra Resort? Now I may be a tad bit biased...but I think it is a mixture of tranquility and fun that is rare to find at other resort properties. The newly opened Solterra Resort lazy river is one of a kind, I have yet to see something similar included in a vacation home rental pool area.
Vacationers browsing rental homes in the Orlando / Disney area tend to have common questions and this is my attempt to help you, the vacationer or home owner, find useful information that I wish I could find in one place when I was looking at Solterra Resort.
This info is not about Disney / Universal / Seaworld and other area main attractions, as I am sure you have done your research...but it is about local dining and shopping options and Solterra Resort Q&A.
A lot of the info on Solterra Resort throughout the web is outdated... the Champions Gate area, close to Solterra has experienced explosive growth and is now home to many new shops and restaurants including:
Tijuana Flats - pretty great quick Mexican restaurant my family and I enjoyed...lots of hot sauce selections!
Menchies Frozen Yogurt - So many toppings... and so close to Solterra Resort
Posner Park - there is a movie theatre here, a Dick's sporting goods store, Ross, JC Penney, Booksamillion, and an Ale House and Cici's Pizza
Manino's Pizza - Pretty Great Pizza. New York Style.
Chick-Fil-A - just built, very close to Solterra
Anytime Fitness - 24 hour gym that does day passes for Solterra guests
Reunion and Champions Gate golf courses
2 Publix Grocery Stores - the local place of choice
Wells Fargo Bank
Chili's - ok food, busy on weekends! I like free chips...I am sure you like free chips and salsa too... address is 8180 Laura LaneChampionsGate, FL 33896 Phone number is: 407-396-2180
and a lot more...will add to list, but there is a ton to experience right outside Solterra Resort
